The Organization of Independent Filmmakers (OIF) is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping anyone learn, participate and engage in the film arts.   We offer programs, activities and incentives to assist individuals and arts related communities so they may meet these goals.

Please consider volunteering your time, skill, or resources to help us provide deserving creative minds from all walks of life the opportunity to participate in film productions.

If you have mastered a skill or craft and would like to share your expertise with our readers, please also consider become a contributing author on this site.

Why Volunteer?

Besides that great feeling you’ll get from knowing you’ve helped others reach for their dreams:

  • Volunteers (Ambassadors)receive FREE access to certain OIF-sponsored events
  • Ambassadors gain special networking opportunities that may open new doors for their career
  • Ambassadors increase their personal exposure to the film community

We are always seeking qualified individuals able to commit a bit of their time and energy to help OIF reach, educate and promote the talents of actors, crew, filmmakers and more. 
Volunteers benefit from greater insight into the film industry and boost their networking opportunities by volunteering for work on programs and activities as well as special projects.  The experience you gain by participating can be invaluable.
